Hi,
We have discovered a leak caused by a snapped joint on a sink waste pipe. It is an old grey plastic pipe that has been solvent welded together and also painted in gloss white, so joining a new piece looks to be a difficult job.
The outside pipe diameter measures approximately 37 mm, which seems to be an unusual size.
I would be grateful for any suggestions on repairing it given the unusual diameter. Are fittings for size generally available?
