Any ideas how I can repair or replace this strap on a 150mm extractor please?

It’s no longer under warranty.

duck tape?
Yes, was thinking the same...
The weight of the rigid 150mm duct has caused it to snap. I need to find a way to lift that up and rest it on something, as that will close the gap. I can then run some duct tape over it.

Definitely support the rigid duct .......

Take the broken bar off the grey plastic clip, drill two holes in the grey plastic side parts where the bar broke off and replace the broken bar with a nail or similar through the drilled holes.

Good point, it's only the fastner that's broken - a jubilee clip could be secured around the existing clip.

This might fit. If it's a loose fit wrap some foam tape round it. Or a thin strip of packaging foam.

There are some good suggestions for a new band, I found extractorfanworld very knowledgable

If it's only the red bit that is broken I'll suggest just replace it with something like a keyring or perhaps with a a piece of thick wire formed into a suitable square ring. As you have already mentioned the gap has opened unevenly and that really must be corrected by properly supporting the duct in an evenly engaged position as the clamping band is only designed to stop movement, not to support any weight.
