Hello - A recurrence of a previous problem, namely the knob on the boiler that should control the central heating temperature has broken, leaving part of itself lodged inside and my parents unable to adjust the temperature. Fortunately it seems to have happened while the temperature has been set high and not low so there's no chance of them freezing.
It's happened before, whether it's a function of crap plastic and temperature, or one parent not knowing how when to stop turning the control, I don't know. They have a spare available from the previous callout a few years back - would anybody know this model and whether it's likely to be trivial to open the control panel, take out the broken part and push on the replacement knob? It looks it from the pictures but before seeing it in person...
Thanks in advance.
