BT dect telephones

I have some older BT cordless phones which are working fine allthough old. My problem is how to register a BT 4000 handset to a BT 2000 answer machine/base. I know it can be done but have lost the paperwork.

Thanks to all who replied. One of the weblinks reminded me that I had changed the PIN from default. Put the correct one in and job done.
