BT Master Socket connections.

Hello everyone, new member, first post.

I have recently moved into a property where the following cables are coming from outside to inside, to where the master socket once was.

Is there anyone who could be so helpful and tell me what colours go where on a master? I have three wires, and on the new master socket only an A & B. The other connections on the plate I believe are for extensions?

Looking at the picture, how would I go about connecting a master socket. The previous tenant thought it a good idea to rip the old one out. ‍

Looks like a cheap internal extension lead not a proper BT line or BT extension

Follow that cable back to the far end, and throw it away.
There must be a proper Openreach type socket to terminate the incoming line. If there isn't, fit one.
Then connect a proper extension lead and socket where you want it.

But Red and White should be A and B - the outer pair.
