Hello All,
I have a BT Voyager 1500 router which is up and running nicely after some help here, thank you.
The only problem I have is that I have not been able to 'lock 'it so that other people cannot use it. I do not have vast quantities of money in any bank etc etc , and I am not sure that I need to lock it ?? As you can tell by now I am a bit dim when it comes to pc 'stuff', sorry.
What is the harm in letting others use my router, I do play an online game and a friend said that someone else using my router could slow my connection down ??
When I go to the ip address 192.168.1.250 as instructed, to get to the options menu I am asked for a password, I was told by another friend (yes I have 2 friends!!!!) to put in username/admin, and 'password' for the password,,,,, alas I fail to get into the options menu.
Sorry to harp on.
Thank you in advance for any help.
