Hi all, I have recently done some maintenance work on my heating system, I had to clean it which involved radiators and header tank removal.
The system was heavily contaminated with sludge and rusty water, it is open system with baxi solo boiler, and indirect water cylinder.
After all this work it is functioning very well apart of one issue, after few days bubbling, rumbling noise appeared when pump starts and after it stops.
There are bleed nipples at highest points of pipework one for CH and one for HW, I have to bleed the ststem every day, there is a lot of air/gases.
My question is will bottle air vent valves solve the problem, I was going to fit the valves instead bleed screws as they need replacing anyway due to being rounded off.
Thanks in advance
