Hi,
I need some advice, I'm really stressed at the minute. We've had an extension built and are nearing completion. We were building over a shared drain that runs along several properties. I asked my builder on several occasions to get the build over agreement sorted with ST water and I was under the impression he was dealing with it. The builder that has done the work is no longer contactable. I've been left with an extension that I'm not sure will be signed off for completion.
Can anyone advise on what I should do. Ideally I would want to apply for retrospective planning but if I do this and they are not happy with the drain run, I'm not sure where that leaves me, what are my options??
I have read that there shouldn't be any bends within the extension footprint and looking at the pictures there is clearly a bend in the drain run. The only positive I can see is that if there was a blockage it can be rodded from either end (my side and from neighbouring properties). Any help / advice would be much appreciated.
