Hi all,
I've had a structural engineer over to tell me what's required to move some collar ties.
The work seems relatively simple and it's follow the specified materials and place in specified places (cut and screw)
Just wondering if I'm best with a builder, carpenter or just read up about noggins and do it myself (I'm a reasonably competent engineer so can turn my hand to most stuff)
Contacted building control already.
I've attached the the design.
