Builders opening with pipes inside

Iv just discovered this forum, looking through internet to find a solution to my small problem.
So I just reopened, builders opening in my 1930 ex-council house. And surprisingly, did find some pipes inside.
Two look like water - those have been cut, and those are like side ones. but one looks like a gas pipe. Can anyone confirm that - then I will need to find some gas engineer, who will sort it out. Or is it just a water pipe and I can cut it myself? I'm able to cut and seal water cooper pipework, but I don't want to touch gas pipes!
Anyone can help me with that? I did attach some pictures

Looks like a gas feed to an old gas fire

Looks like the remains of the old back boiler.

2x 3/4" copper or steel pipes on the left would be water, and a 1/2" copper pipe, with a good few bends would be gas.

Check upstairs that the water pipes are disconnected from any tanks or heating system.

Likewise for the gas if you can trace it back to the meter or cooker pipe.

Thank you for your answers. So both water pipes are disconnected / cut. They have been going to the loft - where I presume was some kind
of water tank for the central heating system. In the loft, all pipes were cut and wires removed, before I moved in, probably many years ago. And I have central heating with a gas boiler. I'm just trying to get a gas engineer to sort it out for me.

So to update you, it was sorted by the gas engineer. Cut outside chimney, cost £70.
