I am looking to build a new garden wall that is approximately 6ft high x 2ft x 20 metres. The wall will contain 2 curves that almost go through 90 degrees. The wall should match the existing wall that forms 1/3rd of our property boundary. We have PP and LBC for the wall provided it matches the existing wall (see pictures). As an 'enthusiastic' DIYer the following questions immediately spring to mind:

1. What is the best way to go about building the wall?
2. Should we lay an internal block wall and face it with the same stone as the existing wall?
3. What depth of footing should we use?
4. Where can we get a sufficient quantity of stone?
5. What would be the approximate cost of building such a wall?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

1. What is the best way to go about building the wall?

We would peri shutter it with trio industrial. (rundflex for the curves) A days work. And a previous day on the found. And a few hours the next day stripping and loading.
Job finished.
Need access of course for the plant.

Need access of course for the plant. Blocks are for neanderthals.

Would you then face the concrete with brick work? How would you bind them together?

You could use the tie bar holes. Extra fixings can be added in the pour also and then used as anchor points when the shuttering is stripped.
Dovetail re-bar pegging could also be used.
When we do these around bungalows, the wall is sometimes water blasted with a 6000psi turbo tipped power washer to provide a key for wall render.
Basically we'll leave you with a concrete wall to a very high spec in a very short space of time and then high tail it to the next job.

Roughly how much would this method cost for a wall 6ft x 20 metres with the 2 curves including the concrete footings? I would complete the necessary groundworks including digging the footings trench to the required specification. How thick would this method make the wall?
Many thanks

You would have to find a local contractor with the necessary specialist equipment.
Also material cost varies wildly from area to area. For example we can purchase cu/m of 35/n concrete here in NI for £55. Aggregates are cheap here with the abundance of quarry operators.
The wall width can be any width you want.
You'll probably find the cost prohibitive in your part of the world and opt for blocks..

Shirley that's a departure from BS5628?

The DIYer or even general contractor won't be able to get anywhere near £55/m³.

Guy we worked for a while back purchased it for £50 a cube. 35/n with fibers.
He wanted to hire the shuttering from us and diy it. No chance.
So he let us do the job. 216 c/m in total into a 400m long wall. Completed in nine days.

...we can do this...we can do that over here....

....yeah my mate can build a garden wall 100m long in Delhi for 10,000 Rupees...blah, blah.

Still misleading folk Norcon?

Misleading no one. Just telling it as it is here in the province.
Check the prices out for your self. Just lift the phone. There's barretts, emersons, coote, loughran, cemex , the lagan group, mc garrities to name but a few.
