How would you build a base for this I need to raise it. 3x2 timber and wbp plywood. But would I leave the timber 5/10mm back from the front acrylic lip of the tray? Never built a platform for a tray like this thanks.

Depends on what finish you want to put on it. I tend to use either the tile they are using or some white moulding, run it up the gap and then half way up the tray and then a fillet of silicone. So the wood is usually finished flush

I usually set the height of the plinth/top by the clearance the trap and waste run will need. 3x2 usually gives you around 100mm under the top , you can also use OSB3 if WBP ply isn't available
