I have a workshop building with internal cladding sheets. The cladding sheets serve a structural purpose and I want to fit some internal wall lights (weigh around 16kg) without cutting chunks out the cladding to fix to the steelwork behind.

Does anyone know of any way to fix the lights to the cladding? Bolting through is not an issue….just not cutting large sections out the cladding.

Thanks,

What are they cladding sheets made from? Steel, plastic, etc.
Is the surface flat, ridged or corrugated etc?
Do you have any idea where the steelwork runs behind the cladding?

Flat steel sheets, and yes I know exactly where the steel behind runs.

I had thought Lindapter may have something clever but couldn't see anything.

How about securing some kind of bracket to the steelwork and then fixing the lights to these?
