Building new kitchen - Appliance recomendations?

Hi all!

Totally redoing my house and now onto the Kitchen. I have absolutely nothing for it yet apart from the tiles.

I'm looking for ANY recommendations on appliances you know to be good (and by that I mean the model).

I'm undecided about if I should have a cooker built-in to the units or free-standing, any advantage over one or the other?

Built in cooker look more ascetically pleasing and not to difficult to have fitted, also may allow for additional draw in oven housing. (for pans etc....) but I do like the larder types that allow for a microwave to be fitted.
As far as Models they change that often could not say for certain.
I have a whirlpool fridge/freezer(US type) really like it.
and indesit dishwasher that has never been a problem and always buy hotpoint w/m and dryers.
