Building Regs - min distance between gas/elec/water

Hi there

I am having a new gas and water main come into the property, as well as extending the tails from the meter, with SWA, all along the same route.

What is the minimum safe distance between them, horizontally, and vertically?

water is 750mm and gas is 450mm and 300mm to the side.

can't you have them in the same trench as long as they are individually ducted in the relavently coloured ducts?

I saw one program where they let the builder do that, but I'm not sure if that was a special allowance from the supply companies..?
