do I need to worry about building regs when retrofitting?
When selling the house, only a full structural would find it, but what are the implications? My house is full of old stuff which doesn’t meet regs.
Does it matter in terms of insurance etc?
Two people I know vaguely in the trade said it’s only really for new extensions and new buildings. It won’t make a difference for insurance/selling unless someone wants to do full structural which is highly unlikely for my property
