Built in boss or not

Hi all.
Bathroom project in full swing, but, just acquired low level Mira shower base which requires high flow outlet. Ok no problem with shower trap as it was supplied with tray, going into 40mm waste. Want to connect it into soil stack so got mcalpine drain connector with built in 1.5” pipe boss. Great but, where boss is built into the connector it reduces down to what looks like less than 30mm! Question is will it flow high enough for shower as it reduces?
Any help please.
