We have a built in single oven which has seen its last meal. Would like to replace it with a double oven. We have found some with the correct dimensions so fitting shouldn't be a problem, my question relates to electrics.
There is a separate fuse at the consumer unit rated at 30a. The wall switch for the oven is definitely connected to it as I have pulled the fuse to check. The wall switch is wired with 2.5mm in and out and it powers the oven, hob ignition and extractor together with two 13a sockets.
On the basis that the kitchen was fitted professionally in 1988 I assume all of this is ok for the single oven but will it be ok for a double oven?
Thanks for any advice.
Peter
