need to bury some armoured cable under concrete, is it alright to run it through blue MDPE pipe which I have spare?. Worried Building Control may worry in the future that someone thinks its a water pipe and cut though it.
I would use a piece of white drainage pipe.
For a domestic duct you should not use a colour that could be misleading.

Totally wrong, black is the colour for liquids apart from water and oil.
The colour for electrical services is orange.
