I have a few questions regarding a bit of pipe work in my new kitchen (extension.)

The current kitchen will now be a dinning area. The water pipes currently protrude through the door way to the new kitchen. So I need to burry them to the corner.

All of the below is regarding internal pipe work.
1) How deep should they be buried? (Current pipes are around 2 inch deep)
2) The pipes are taped up with a yellow tape (seems like insulation tape), any one know what it would be? Or would it be best to use denso tape.
3) Current pipes underground are steel, anyway of a solder joint on them or should we use compression and leave a small access panel in the floor (concrete floor)
4) I also need to hide a pipe in a wall should I run it in some protective cover and what is best for such a job.
5) Currently the steel pipes for cold and hot water are right next to each other underground. Is this a bad idea? Should there be a gap?
6) Is there anything else I should be considering?
