Bury old posts

Hi there, just wondering if you can lay concrete slab over old decking posts. Thanx

Are the posts just laying horizontal on the ground or are the buried up to a certain depth?

If they are buried into the ground just cut them level with your base level. It will take years for them to rot and certainly shouldn't weaken the concrete.
