Hello All,

I have an issue with my Bush oven. I brought a new top grill to replace the old sagging one. I hooked it up & turned it on. It started heating up but at around 30 secs-1 min it tripped the electrics. Im just looking for some advice as i think i hooked it up correctly but I'm not sure as when i took the old element out i forgot to take pictures. I thought it was a push fitting connection but i was wrong.

Any advice you can give me would be much appreciated

The replacement element wasn't new i brought it as used, but it looked fine with no damage.

First of all - what exactly is tripping?

If you do not know, post a picture. Just copy and paste or drag.

Hello,

The rcd on the fuse board is tripping. I have uploaded some photos showing the wiring.

Well, this looks right - when the earth wire is connected to the middle connector.

So, if that is what you have done, then I suspect one of the elements is faulty.

The blues should be on the left two.
The white and white/black on the right two - can't tell which which way round.
