Something I very rarely do these days is post anything. However with Christmas fast approaching, my old mum needs some stamps for the cards she's sending both within and outside the UK. As I'm working from home and only go out when needed, I thought I'd try ordering the stamps online from Royal Mail. A useful service I thought.

Value of stamps ordered came to around £30. Now, I realise the stamps have a value. However I also realise how small and light they are for sending through the postal system.

Guess what the p&p was? Something like £8.50!

Needless to say I didn't complete the purchase ;)

Thanks all. Yeah I know other places sell them and that you can print off etc, it was basically an easy way for me to get the stamps to my door for giving to mum. At near 80, she just likes good old fashioned stamps to stick on ;)
