buzzing mcb

hello i turned off our cu for 20 minutes but once back on an mcb has started buzzing.
we are having the system upgraded in a few weeks but
i would like to know the possible cause of this fault and
if it can be fixed temporarily.
the mcb is for the upstairs lighting.
