Hi,
Our pipes are buzzing. They start with a higher pitched buzz that goes into a descending crescendo. This lasts for about 2-4 seconds and then stops for about 10 seconds and then repeats (needless to say it got tiring real fast). It appears to be emanating from the cold water pipes as they are the ones that are vibrating to the touch. When I turn off the main water from the city it greatly decreases it, almost completely. Could it be the water meter? Is the pressure too high from the city? We live in Canada by the way in case this makes a difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
