Hi guys,

Hope everyone is keeping well.

i have purchased outdoor light and wired them selves. Currently the lights are on motion sensor so it turns off every 4 mins. I have gone through the manual and tried leaving the lights on by tuning off and on the switch twice which works but I have plugged the lights with smart switch, which turns off the lights at 1am but when the lights come on at around 4 pm it reverts back to motion detection and turns the lights off.

I was wondering if anyone could guide me on how to bypass PIR so it stays on until smart switch turns it off and on and wont rely on PIR. I have attached images of wires and how they are connected.

Thanks in advance.

You will need an extra wire from the switch to the actual lamp - as you say, bypassing the PIR.

This might not be possible if your light has concealed wiring and a flex.

If not, post a picture of the light connections

I can see the picture but it won't let me pqaste it.

Anyway, as I said you need another switched live feed from the switch to the connector with the Brown and Red wires.
