hi new to all this, so bare with me.
i have a gravity hw and pumped ch system working from a floor standing ideal mexico boiler. there are no motorised valves in the system.
i have bought a cylinder stat a programable room stat a honeywell wiring box and the siemans programer, i have a 3 way motorised valve intending to convert it into a fully pumped system.
i would very much appreciate any advice on this. where the pump and valve should be positioned, safety issues ie:venting etc.
is it ok to have bends going to the valve or are there limits on them.
i am tempted to just put a 2way 28mm valve in the hw side and make a c-plan as this seems much easier. #
what are the pros and cons between a c,y and s plan?
the pipe work is very tight in and around the boiler, so the least amount of re-arranging pipes the better
i am hoping to start the work very soon but need a littlehelp and inspiration.
cheers
