Hi, I am replacing a built in oven and a separate ceramic hob, which require two supplies, with a free standing oven with the ceramic rings attached. Can this be supplies from the original oven cable from the oven switch``?

Throw us a clue:

Are both the applinces connected to the same circuit, both switched from the same cooker switch?
What is the power rating of the new cooker in kW?
What size cables (cross-sectional area) is supplying the existing circuit(s)?
What size MCBs are protecting each of the existing circuit(s)?
How are each of the existing appliances currently connected (plug+socket, FCU, cooker connection plate)?

You may as well ask how long a piece of string is.
Wattage.
Cross sectional area.
Overload size.
Type of cable.
Installation method.
And we still may make a mistake.
Come on give a clue.

If British likely the stand alone cooker will require a 32A supply. Likely a hob would have a 32A supply although domino types are sometimes only 13A.

The oven likely the reverse where most are 13A only but some designed for Europe can require a 16A supply.

The stand alone could for all we know be a baby belling designed specially for UK market to work on just a 13A supply but more likely it needs 32A. Some of the range cookers can both be just 13A and also well over the 32A.

The last time I wanted a cooker the Belling was the top of the range being the only stand alone cooker with an induction hob. On this British product Belling has gone to great lengths to limit it's requirement to 32A however this is unlikely to be mirrored with the European manufactures who often design their appliance to work with the French split phase so could with single phase be well above 32A.
