Hello everybody.
Looking for a little advice/conformation on cable sizing please.
We are currently building a new kitchen extension.
The wiring is currently at the first fix stage.
Ring main for sockets 2.5mm twin and earth, 4 double sockets, plus FCU spur for cooker extractor.
Cooker has its own dedicated 6mm supply from the CU
Lighting 1.5mm twin and earth.
We now want to install a dishwasher and electric under floor heating/tile warmerbefore the walls are plasterboarded then plastered, and have requested to our electrical to install two separate radial supplies form the CU for each unit, which he has done. BUT!!!!
My question is I thought all radial supplies had to be done in 4mm twin and earth ? The electrician has used 2.5mm twin and earth with a FCU for each supply, is this correct ?
