I'm planning some work soon with wiring a garage, theres going to be a lot of sockets and other items, so thought i'd use 20 or 25mm conduit and do a nice job of it.
I know traditionally, single core cables would be used (old colours), but looking around it doesnt seem to be possible to get single core cables in the new colours, is this no longer the practice when using conduit?

Thanks.

It is still the norm to wire in singles!

I would not go for 25mm. Depending on how many circuits, I would look to be fitting some 2"x2" galv (or pvc if you must) trunking on the wall horizontally, and then use stabs of conduit out of this to drop to sockets/isolators/switches etc.

Thanks for that guys, for some reason I managed to miss it on the TLC site yesterday.

And thanks lectrician, maywell look into the 2x2 trunking. Need to work out how many circuits i'm putting in first :)
