What a total waste. Stores are being told to remove from sale and destroy thousands, maybe millions, of products. All because "this product may contain nuts" has been left off. There must be another way. Why cant stores send the products back to Cadbury for repackaging? Why cant Cadbury send stickers to stores?
Part of the problem is that the distribution chain is non-reversable - not without a struggle, anyway.
Its disgusting, it makes me feel sick throwing perfectly good food in the bin, and in an age when we are trying to reduce waste.
