Hi all,
Wonder if someone can advise.
I am looking to buy Hexagonal shingles by Katepal for a Hip Pyramid roof. Only one place I can see sells this brand and shipping is very expensive, so want to make sure I get enough without buying too many!
Each of the four 'Triangles' is 3.9m along the base, and 2.8m up along each of the hips, so 3.9 sq/m of area x 4 = 16 sg/m
If I am to factor in doubling up on the shingles along the base (flipping the first row to cover the base), and then capping up along each hip, how much would you say I should need total?
Katepal Hexagonal shingles come in 3 sq/m packs, with shipping set at £60! so don't want to make any mistakes?!?
Thanks everyone!
- happy to consider alternative reasonably priced brands - Katepal is £24 per 3 sq/m pack?
