Camrey 5 hot water system

Hi I have a camrey 5 oil fired floor standing boiler
On the hot water side I need to know what is in coming and what is out going

There are two 15mm pipes on the heat exchanger and one has the filling loop tap, does this have to be the feed in from the mains or is that the out going to suppy hot water ?

I assume that you are describing a Camray 5 combination boiler, and the heat exchanger is the domestic water heat exchanger. This will have 4 connections, 2 22mm primary pipes which are the flow and return to the boiler, and 2 15mm pipes which are the cold water supply and the hot water 'delivery' pipe.
It is usual to find the filling loop supplied from a 't' on the cold water supply.

Thanks, quite right, I had the two round the wrong way and have swapped the pipes this morning and all is well

The DHW will work the other way round to a small extent but just not so well!

The water flows in opposite directions in the primary and secondary sides.
