I'm just wondering why you wouldn't go IDC? - it would give you so many more options...

Something like this, despite not being a euro module, may look ok next to MK sockets?

If you add up the time taken to find all the unusual gear that matches other stuff, does it come to more than the time required to cut the ends off the wires and connect them into typical punch down sockets?
