Can I fit a shower pump to mixer taps?

Is there any reason why I should not connect a shower pump to the bath tap mixer. This will save a lot of extra work in pipe runs and the cost of fitting a mixer unit and changing the taps.

providing the taps are tank fed and enough storage (loft tank) no problem done it before and worked fine

I guess the basin will be. I haven't yet had the floor up to check pipe runs.

for the sake of one more tap the kitchen hot you might as well feed all the hot water by pump and the bathroom cold on pump
