I have a Speedy Streamline curtain rail that I'd like to fit to a window.

They normally just attach with wood screws so what I'd like to know is if I can safely screw them into the UPVC trim above the window in the following photo:
The trim is sturdy but obviously a hollow box section, will it be suitably strong enough to support a curtain?
What type of screws would be best for this?
For info there will be four of these fixings holding the rail and it's approximately 115cm long.
