Can i move the hot water cylinder

Hi there,

I'll shortly be moving house, and would like to install a shower asap. The bathroom currently houses the airing cupboard - an ideal sized area for a shower cubicle! My question is this, is it possible to move the hot water cylinder elsewhere, maybe up to the attic? Bathroom is on the first floor.

The boiler is one of those that is behind the gas fire in the lounge with thermo valve radiators etc.

If you put the tank in the loft, you will probably have to move the cold water tank up higher too.
