Hi there,

I can see the sealant coming away slightly on one of the ends of the tub where it meets the wall/tiles. The other 2 seals seem fine.

So I've removed the silicone across the edge of the bath where the taps are and have left the rest alone.

Can I just re seal the one edge or do I need to do the whole lot? I'm in the realm of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Should I make the bead of silicone the same size across the whole back edge? i.e. as fat as is required to cover the gap on first tile (as this is a much wider gap compared to the other for some reason), and then use my profiling tool to merge it into the corner and the other 2 joints?

Cut into the corner with a really sharp stanley, clean the old silicone where it will join with the new with a solvent type cleaner - I use brush cleaner/restorer or meths and then dry and buff the whole edge super clean and then reseal along the back edge, blending it into the existing, should be fine.
