So, I completed a PC refresh to rid of unwanted malware. The refresh says cleans and removes files and apps. Little did I know apps meant my microsft office and all word documents, my PAYE software and lots more!!

Is there anyway I can undo this or do a date restore? I have no restore point.
Main problem is I don't have install cd or activation code for my ms office. Is there anything anyone can do?

Depends on what you actually selected.
If it was the Refresh then the files will still be there, but possibly have not been relocated correctly.
If it was Reset, then the files and everything else are gone, as this returns the machine to the state it was in when it left the manufacturer.

Hello, I have been majorly stressing over this. Had a thorough look through what was left and found an Image File Disc for Microsoft office. I have been able to get word and excel back. I also have fount my HMRC software. Seems it is saved someowhere in Zip files. Thankfully I only done a refresh and files are just hiding. I am a plumber! not too up to speed with everything

I know this isn't about your question as such, but if the stuff on your computer is important to you, then you really need backups. Preferably at least 2 and on external hard discs that are not kept together or with the computer itself.
That way if you have a HDD fail on the computer, or other problems you can restore your data.
Hope you manage to get all your stuff back OK.
