Hi, I need to do some work over a bath, can I use a hop up inside the bath for this?
Thanks

What is the bath made off?
if it is metal then probably, although I would add loads of old towels as padding.
Or cut 3-4 ply to sit on the edges with some kind of lip to stop it moving.

Throw blanket in bath. Put a board over the blanket then stand hop up on the board.

I would prefer some cheap board cut to fit over bath. Few towels or blankets. Lay board on and stand on that.

Think about debris or something dropped on bath which is why I always covered

If your going to put a board over the bath, screw some 2x3 lengths onto the underside so they have the blanket between them and the sides, that ought to stop it sliding off.

As mentioned , boards on top ( screwed 3x2 to under side against edge to give snug fit and prevent movement).

If you can, unscrew and remove the shower pipe, it's a trip hazard and you don't want to be catching your foot in that when up there.

To skim my Daughters bathroom ceiling I fixed lengths of 3x2 across the bath with double sided tape to stop them slipping and boarded on top so had a nice sturdy platform .
