Can\\\'t remove mixer Spout

I have a kitchen mixer tap that has is leaking at the base of the swovel spout. I have removed the small grub screw and tried lifting/pulling the spout in all directions, but won\\\'t come out. What Am I doing wrong ?

You're not pulling hard enough.

Do your best to position your chest over the top of the tap, and pull as directly upwards on the vertical part of the stem - if the stem isn't straight then it may not come out, but wiggling helps.

Also avoid getting your face in the way, just in case.

Sometimes they only come off when the spout is in certain positions ... Often 90º to the right or left

True, but this one has a grub screw, and with those type the position doesn't matter in my experience, but life is full of surprises...
