Can we do something about that Sainsburys ad please?

Whenever its visible on the screen my computer locks up for ages
if you scroll it off the screen its ok [scrolling takes ages]it frees up and acts normaly
as soon as you see 1 pixle off the add it locks up again

I dont know what it is, perhaps there is something in it designed to slow things down so you have to look at it?

well if its been removed then why has it just appeared on the plumbing section?
it was on the post about the unregistered fitter
and yes it is still slowing the computer to a snail speed!!

It has no effect on my laptop, and mine is quite old and normally slow anyway.

The Sainsburys ad has been removed from the site so it should not be showing any more.

It was there on August 6th.

If you successfully found it all you'd see would be a banner ad which when on screen would cause your system to go to 100% CPU.

You could amuse yourself for a short while by scrolling the web page up and down to hide/expose the ad whilst running a performance monitor (e.g. Task Manager) to show CPU use graphically to see how good a square-wave you could create, but that's about it.
