You can bend it, but only in curves conforming to the manufacturer's specifications. These are too large normally for radiator connections. i used the layflat pipe and quite a few of the formers on a recent refurbish of a cloakroom. I choose to use Copper from a JG rightangle into the radiator , only because I thought it looked better and have planned , when i find it , a chrome sheet around the copper.
all the rest of the pipework used the layflat and formers , to come down a wall across the floor upto basin and also for outside tap and cistern
