Hi,
Couldn't find a yay or nay on the subject but got to replace a bath in my rented accomodation. The space for the bath with a shower in the wall is limited so the bath length is 1660mm, but a common bath size comes in at 1685mm, so could i cut off the 25mm? What tools should i use to do so...Any help please.

Thanks.
Mark

 sounds good fun to me ya angle grinder straight across the back lip of the bath . :(

No-no-no. That'll ruin the symmetry of the bath. Best way would be to run a reciprocating saw down the middle, take 10mm from either side, sand it down and glue back(but don't use a water based glue). Will then fit snuggly

just chase out the walls at each end, easy peasy.

take out the max from the non-tap end. If you chase the tap end into the wall much, the taps will be tight to grab.

You could take off a tile's height of plaster at each end and replaster with a slope if you like.

Hi, i looked at the wall and decided to cut back into the wood then I retiled, looks nicer than the previous installation now! Thanks for the help!
