can you leave a rendered wall unpainted?

Hi,

Can you leave the external walls of a new house unpainted? We will be builing a new house soon, 2 storey, downstairs brick and upstairs hebel power panel and all the exterior walls (upstairs and downstairs) will be rendered. does it have to be painted?

if not can we get a certain colour?

Yes. In fact, unpainted is preferable. Better still, use a through-coloured render.
