Hi all.

Just wondering if i can put the woodwork on in a room that was skimmed 2 days ago? the skim is patchy at the moment, the light pink (dry) and areas that are still not fully dry?

Cheers

Wait until the plaster skim has had a chance to dry out properly which can take anything between 10 - 14 days; even though it’s turned light pink & looks dry it will still have relatively high moisture content & timber trim will absorb it, possibly leading to warping. Don't be tempted to rush it by turning the heating up & don’t paint it yet either!
