I've successfully bunged my central heating system a number of times to change valves etc. I need to extend a pipe which requires me to solder a coupler (never done it before but doesn't seem too difficult) to a new length of pipe.
When I have bunged it before it ranges from a small trickle to nothing whatsoever. However, when soldering I presume I would need to drain down the system fully rather than using a bung?
