Can you water down bathroom paint?

I have applied 2 coats of watered down normal emulsion to my plastered bathroom ceiling. I now want to finish of with 2 coats of crown bathroom paint, can this be watered down as I have always found it leaves a better finish if normal emulsion paint is watered down but I am unsure if you can do it with this type of paint?
