Candle wax on jeans

I was at a candle party and someone spilled blue candle wax on my white jeans. Is there anyway to remove it without destroying my jeans?

you could try brown paper and a warm iron

put brown paper on wax place warm iron on brown paper, iron heats wx, brown paper absorbs wax

(thats the theory)

Any remnants left after the above treatment can be removed with alcohol or dry cleaning fluid.
