Candy Dishwasher Won't Fill

Hello,

I inherited an old Candy dishwasher (CSD45) when I bought my house last year. Despite being over 15 years old at the time it had never been used (still had sample tablet in it).

I used it for a while no problems but then tried to run a cycle forgetting I had the water off. Was around 10 seconds before I realised. Since then it won't fill and therefore won't run (water is back on!).

Is there a relatively easy fix or things to check.

It will be replaced with the rest of the kitchen soon but would be handy to get working again for now.

Damaged float by the sounds of it, or water inlet valve.

Fixable, girl sure, but would you wanna spend money on it, when you Gould spend it on designer taps, during the renewal ?

I'll just need to carry on washing the dishes for now
